This paintings consists of multiple portraits of a couple who tied the knot back in 2022. My client emphasized how significant it was for them to be coming together because of their familial history. Much joy came from my invitation to contribute to the story of the Igbo man and Yoruba woman - two halves of a troubled tale unifying on the basis of love. The patterns or prints of their garments worn are all signature to either tribe. The images themselves are highlights from their life lived together since their first meeting.
Many hope for a love like this, and I pray all who seek it shall find it too. Lets get back to cherishing lifelong commitments where your better half does not ever want to give up on you!!
