Installment Four to AP

This painting is the forth addition to my ADIEU•PAINtings Series started in 2020 and first addition to my "Traveling with AP" subseries started in 2022. For the recipient, it exists as a reminder of her best friend who passed away from Leukemia many years prior. Before passing on she told my recipient that she would come back as a Red Tailed Hawk. This story was shared with me the second time I visited her home when after she directed our attention to the sky, and proclaimed, “Oh, that’s my girlfriend.” After hearing the full story, my heart knew it to be true and decided to create this work and present it to her for her upcoming birthday. Included on this painting is a quote she shared with me that states, "All things are special" C.J.
